About this tool
Nine tools for the things people actually do to a PDF: join several into one, cut one into several, keep or drop chosen pages, turn pages the right way up, stamp text across them, build a PDF from photos or screenshots, and add or remove a password.
Pages are named the way you would say them out loud. "1-3, 5" means the first three and the fifth. Splitting takes one group per file, so "1-3, 4-6" gives you two documents.
Every file is opened and rewritten by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is queued on a server, and no copy of your document exists anywhere but on your device. That also means it keeps working with no connection once the app has been opened, which is worth knowing before you hand a contract to a website you have never heard of.
Removing a password does what it says. Opening a protected file and saving it again is not enough on its own: the encryption can survive the save, leaving a file that still asks for the password. PDF Kit rebuilds the document instead, so the copy you get really does open without one. You need the password to begin with; this unlocks files you can already open.

How to install
Installing adds PDF Kit to your home screen as its own app. The prompt with the exact steps for your device appears inside the app.
- iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the app, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. The name and icon are prefilled.
- Android (Chrome)
- Open the app and tap the Install button shown inside it. You can also open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Desktop (Chrome and Edge)
- Open the app and click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, then confirm.
