Questions
Questions people ask.
Short answers, in plain words. Something missing? Ask Support and we’ll add it here.
Is this PDF merger free?
Yes. Merge up to 3 PDFs at a time, with no account and no watermark. PDF Kit, which merges any number of files and has thirteen more tools, comes with an implements subscription.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Your browser opens and joins them on this device, so nothing is sent to us or anyone else. That makes it fine for a lease, a pay stub or a tax return.
Is there a limit?
Up to 3 PDFs at a time, with no page limit and no daily limit. Very large files depend on your device’s memory, so a computer handles bigger ones than a phone.
Can I merge only some pages?
Yes. Type the pages under a file, like 1-3, 5, and only those pages go in. Leave it empty for every page.
Can I change the order?
Yes. Move each file up or down before you merge. The merged PDF follows the list from top to bottom.
What about a PDF with a password?
Its password has to come off first, and you need to know it. Remove a password is one of PDF Kit’s tools for members.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Mac or PC. On iPhone, choose the PDFs from the Files app, including iCloud Drive.
Is the merged PDF kept anywhere?
No. It’s made on this page and saved to your device when you download it. Leave the page and it’s gone.
