Questions

Questions people ask.

Short answers, in plain words. Something missing? Ask Support and we’ll add it here.

Is this PDF splitter free?
Yes. Split a PDF into as many parts as you like, with no account and no watermark. PDF Kit, which has thirteen more tools for PDFs, comes with an implements subscription.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your browser opens and cuts it on this device, so nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
How do I choose where to split?
Three ways: tap between two pages to cut there, make a new PDF every few pages, or type ranges like 1-3, 4-8 for one PDF each. The parts are listed before anything is made.
Can I put every page in its own PDF?
Yes. Choose Every few pages and set it to 1.
Can I save just a few pages?
Type them as a range, like 4-6, and that range becomes a PDF of its own. To keep some pages and drop the rest in one step, PDF Kit’s Extract pages does it, for members.
Is there a size limit?
No page limit and no daily limit. Very large files depend on your device’s memory, so a computer handles bigger ones than a phone.
What about a PDF with a password?
Its password has to come off first, and you need to know it. Remove a password is one of PDF Kit’s tools for members.
