Trip Split
Split trip costs with friends who need no account and no app. Log who paid, split it any way you like, and share one link that shows who owes whom.
About this tool
Add the people on the trip by name, then log each expense as it happens: who paid, how much, and who it was for. Split it equally, by exact amounts, by percentage, or by shares, such as two for a couple and one for everyone else.
Nobody else needs an account, an email address or an app. Send the group one link and they see every expense, every balance, and a short list of who pays whom. The list uses as few payments as possible, or keeps each debt between the people who shared it, whichever you prefer.
Tap a name to see how to pay that person. Add their Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Zelle if you like, and choose whether the link shows them. When someone pays someone back, record it and the balances update for everyone.
Every amount is stored in whole cents, so splits always add up to the total and the balances always come out even.

How to install
Installing adds Trip Split to your home screen as its own app. The prompt with the exact steps for your device appears inside the app.
- iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the app, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. The name and icon are prefilled.
- Android (Chrome)
- Open the app and tap the Install button shown inside it. You can also open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Desktop (Chrome and Edge)
- Open the app and click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, then confirm.
